If you are suffering from your ADSL Net getting disconnected in 5 - 10 minutes after connecting and then nothing works then this is the solution for you. Many people suffer from the problem. After a few minutes of their connecting to Internet, a weird Win32 Service error shows up and then you can neither disconnect Internet nor can you reconnect it. All you can do is just restart the machine and then go through this process all over again and again.

Microsoft did provide patches for the same later but by then the problem was resolved by the experts. Also those people who do not have fast Internet cannot use those patches. So is there a solution for it without downloading the patches and just tweaking some settings in Windows XP. Fortunately the answer is yes. There are just 2 changes that you need to make. They are described in detail below:

First of all comes system security. So when you start Registry Editor (method is shown below) take a backup of the Registry as this is one of the core components of your Windows Installation. Backing up registry would help you to restore the changes you will make and would save you from a lot of headache later on. To create a backup of registry, navigate to File and click on Export. This will create a backup of your registry which can be restored again.

Click on Start button in the taskbar and navigate to Run. Type "regedit" without quotes in it and press enter. Now on the left panel, navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Expand it and navigate to SYSTEM. Then navigate to CurrentControlSet. In it expand NetBT. Navigate to Parameters. Now in the right panel locate TransportBindName. Just double click it and delete the default value which currently is Devices.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> System --> CurrentControlSet --> NetBT --> Parameters --> TransportBindName

Now navigate again to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. In it locate Softwares. Now go to Microsoft and expand it. Locate Ole in it. Now in the right panel just locate the value EnableDCOM. The default value in would be Y. Double click it and make the default value N. Now just close Registry Editor and restart the machine. Connect to Internet and voila the net now no longer gets disconnected.

You could also have changed the values of NetBIOS but generally changing the values of these two parameters would eliminate the problem for all. You would not be required to change those values.

Why Do So Many People Use Linksys Routers

Linksys is a division of Cisco Systems, Inc., and are the recognized global leader in VoIP, Wireless and Ethernet networking for home, and small business users. They are based in Irvine, California.
A Linksys router is the most popular model available today. There are several reasons for that. Linksys offers a very user friendly way to network all of your computers together. A few benefits of networking your computers with a Linksys router include:

- Share a high-speed, broadband cable or DSL Internet connection so everyone can surf the web simultaneously. Linksys Wireless Broadband Routers have four Ethernet ports and support up to 32 wireless users.

- Access your own private e-mail account while others surf the web. This is a perfect example of the flexibility Linksys gives everyone in your network.

- Share all types of files, including music, digital pictures, and documents

- Store your library of music, pictures, and files all in one place

- View digital pictures and listen to your music anywhere in the house

- Secure your computers against viruses

- Enjoy multi player and head-to-head games with friends or family from any room in the house

- Enjoy playing games online with people all over the world

- And many more...

A common complaint when using a Linksys router is interference between a 2.4 GHz phone system and the wireless network. A few things you can do is change the channel of the phone or the Router so they use different channels. You could also move the phone's base station so that it's farther away from the Router.

It is good to know that Linksys Routers only work with external cable or DSL modems featuring Ethernet ports. They do not work with ISDN, satellite connections, dial-up modems or modems featuring USB or RJ-11 connections. Linksys Routers are compatible with any platform that supports Ethernet and TCP/IP. The router must be connected to a cable or DSL modem.

Linksys offers a great support system for any problems you may be having. You view the FAQ's online at Linksys.com. They have a discussion forum where you can ask questions to other Linksys users anywhere in the world. You can submit an email support ticket or call their 1-800 technical support hot line as well.

If you are not wireless or just need to upgrade the hard wired system you currently have Linksys offers the best protection and system performance on the market today. You can buy Linksys products online or at many different retailers including Best Buy, Radio Shack, Comp USA, Circuit City, Office Depot, and more.

How to Add an External Hard Drive to a Playstation 3 or Xbox 360

Add More Storage to Your Gaming Console With an External Hard Drive

If you have a gaming console that came with a small hard drive or no hard drive at all, then adding an external hard drive is a reasonably quick and simple solution. Sure, you can replace Bonded Adsl original hard drives that came in the system with a larger one, but those laptop hard drives can get quite expensive, especially in the larger capacities.

An external hard drive will let you add more storage at a much lower price while at the same time allowing you to control the content yourself. On a system like an Xbox 360, you cannot add content to the built in drive unless it is downloaded from Xbox Live or ripped from a CD. With an external drive, you have full control of your content, and can easily upload or download new content without much trouble.

Choosing Your External Hard Drive

Naturally, you will need a hard drive and an enclosure. Almost any USB external hard drive will work for your purposes. The main difference is if you are looking for portability vs. storage size. If you have some laptop hard drives lying around, then buy a 2.5" laptop hard drive enclosure.
The advantages of using a smaller laptop hard drive are that it will be much smaller and much more portable, and will most likely not require a power supply. However, laptop drives usually pale in capacity compared to regular 3.5" drives of the same price. A 3.5" external hard drive will store much more content but will probably require an extra power port. If your gaming console is usually located in one location and not likely to move around, this type of hard drive might be the best solution.

Formatting Your Hard Drive

Gaming consoles need an external hard drive that is formatted in the FAT32 file system. You can use virtually any hard drive currently sold on the market, as FAT32 can support hard drives up to 2 Terabytes in size. However, the limitation of FAT32 is that it cannot hold individual files larger then 4GB in size. Also, Windows 2000 and XP cannot create or format partitions larger than 32GB. Windows 98 users can only create and Telekom Malaysia drives up to 127GB in size. So, in order to create a FAT32 partition and format it above the 32GB or 127GB limitations, you will need a utility like Partition Magic or some other drive/partition utility. I highly recommend CompuApps Swissknife, which can be downloaded for free at download.com for PC users. Mac OSX users can simply open /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app, choose the desired drive, and click on the Erase. Choose 'MS-DOS (FAT)' and then click on the 'Erase' button. You should now have a hard drive formatted in FAT32.

Once your drive is done formatting in FAT32, it's simply a matter of uploading content to your new drive and connecting it to your gaming console. Simply connect your USB cable to an available USB port on the front of your Playstation 3, or the back of your Xbox 360. Your game console should recognize your new device automatically, and allow you to browse your new files on the external hard drive.

How Article Internet Marketing Works For You

When you have an internet business there is nothing more important than marketing. The best way Web Mail Tmnetmy do this is with SEO in article writing practices. Articles written with the keywords that describe your products or services are a good way to attract buyers. This is article internet marketing. Potential buyers type a word related to your business website in a search engine tm net wireless broadband there you are up in the top three of the search list.

This is a good idea for a few reasons; one is that it is a fairly inexpensive way to get your message out there to the prospective buyers. The articles can be placed on your website and put on others like E-zines. This gives you more resources and outlets for your article internet marketing campaign. The second is that the article tells about you, and your product or service.

You may write some of your own articles for your article internet marketing campaign, but believe me as your business grows you will not have the time to keep up with it. You can hire someone to do it or go to a freelance website and hire one or two writers that way. Be sure that when you interview the prospective applicants that Bluehyppo Malaysia know what article marketing is. It does not take long to teach them if they are good writers. Look at samples of their writing especially any SEO work that they have done in the past.

Keyword density is important in article internet marketing. A good density is between 1.5 and 3%. If it is much more than that the article can get kind of bland, because the keyword will be used so much that it can ruin the whole point of the campaign. People will not want to read an article like that.

The articles should be informative and professional sounding for most businesses. Story form seems to work well in others. Whatever form you decide to go with, article internet marketing is the way to go to start getting website traffic.

Trust me, give it a try, you will gain a little more knowledge, maybe a new employee, and a lot of new business. When you do you can remember to thank the little people like me.

EA Sports' NHL series has had sort of a roller coaster history. Back in the 90s, EA owned the hockey market with its NHL 9X series on the old Sega Genesis. EA had never been able to match that success with future generation gaming consoles. The NHL 2K series of hockey gaming became sort of a cult favorite for a few years in the early to mid 2000s, as EA seemed to be spiraling towards obscurity.

Then came NHL 08, and best internet service provider changed. A totally re-done game engine and revamped game play, including the introduction of create-a-play, put EA back on the map in a big way.

EA Sports NHL 09 starts where NHL 08 left off. It has excellent game play and graphics and streamyx mail be internet security 2009 to pick up for those familiar with NHL 08. There are many sliders that can affect different facets of the game to help different levels of players enjoy the gaming experience. Not much has changed this year to last year's version, which is actually a good thing (some companies try too hard to change what isn't broken). The have kept in the franchise modes, exhibition modes, and create a player mode is there with a new and exciting "be a pro" mode which allows you to create a player and have him advance through a team's system while you play as just him on the ice. It is quite immersive.

The skill stick innovation from the prior NHL games is back and this year the defense also gets to take advantage of the skill stick for even more realistic defensive controls.

The AI in this game is just as good as the last installment. No longer can you fly down a ring and continuously pass to the slot for one timers. After a while the AI catches up to your strategy and will adjust accordingly forcing you to adjust your gameplay.

Online play is fun as well this year with EA Sports Hockey League. Players can now join leagues online and compete with each other for the championship

All-in-all a great game. Wish the goalie play was a little more realistic, I can't seem to get the sliders to perfect that. But I truly do recommend this game.

Verizon CEO Admits Landlines Are Dead - Company likens itself to Google as it purges rural users, COs, employees...

Saul Hansell over at internet surveys New York Times has picked up that paper's telecom beat, and offers an interesting piece from a recent Goldman Sachs investors conference. While AT&T Boss Randall Stephenson and Qwest boss Ed Mueller are keeping their heads buried in the sand telling investors that the landline defections will eventually stop, Verizon boss Ivan Seidenberg has basically admitted the obvious: the landline, as we know it, is dead. Seidenberg even trotted out a new metaphor to explain the evolution in his thinking:

Mr. Seidenberg said that his "thinking has matured" and that trying to predict when the company would stop losing voice landlines "is like the dog chasing the bus."..."Video is going to be the core product in the fixed-line business," Mr. Seidenberg declared. And the focus will move from selling bundles Tmnet Mail video and landline to video and cellphones, he added...."(As Verizon trims landline infrastructure) we don t look any different than Google," he said. "We can begin to look at eliminating central offices, call centers and garages."
Of course Verizon's grand plan of focusing primarily on FTTH service and wireless isn't news if you've been following our reports. Verizon's focus on fiber is certainly a welcome one, given that AT&T and Qwest continue to milk copper infrastructure that offers a fraction of the throughput of fiber. It's a simple thing, but it's interesting to see Verizon finally admit that voice really is just data. Verizon's a little quicker on the draw than their baby ball compatriots, Seidenberg actually telling investors "he could have done a better job" in seeing the bigger picture sooner.

However, Verizon's move comes with a dark side: the company is officially kicking rural America and a significant chunk of union workers in those markets off of the pier. Verizon's been a tear lately offloading unwanted rural markets and their debt to smaller carriers that are clearly unable to handle such massive acquisitions (Hawaii Telcom, Fairpoint, possibly Frontier). Customers who were already ignored by Verizon are now being served by carriers that have inherited shoddy copper, are bloated by Verizon debt, and can't afford even basic improvements.

Racing has always been a strong passion of every guy out there, it even appeals to girls. The need for speed is something all car lovers have, the exhilarating emotion of racing against several competitors to the rhythm of your favorite tune can sure take things to a whole new level.

Racing games have undergone quite a few changes in the past decade, the early versions of "Need for Speed" were quite popular because this game introduced quality racing to computer systems and stand alone consoles. Later on more racing games emerged which had a few innovations but failed in several aspects, "Gran Turismo" is one of the games which needs to be mentioned because it was created to be the best car racing simulator ever.

Changes in technology have taken this game from earlier versions to what it is today, Gran Turismo 5. GT5 is a high definition game which is shipped in Blu-Ray format for PS3 consoles, the detail level is amazing, this is really as close as a player can get to the real thing, but besides the visual effects the technology and physics involved in the game is so remarkable it needs to be mentioned, the physics engine allows you to handle your car just like you would in real life, the response and performance of each of the vehicles used in this game is also incredible, however there is little DLC or no car damage. Developers of the game responded to several questions regarding this matter but they said that since the game is still being developed the Prologue version won't have car damage, because designers are very picky when it comes to this game they want to make sure that when "damage" is introduced they will do it as realistic as possible, just like they did with the physics engine which powers the game.

As far as the amount of cars featured in the game there is quite a few discussions being held because it is said that the game will ship with Linkdslcom vehicles and 14 tracks, others claim that GT5 will have around 340 vehicles at launch out of the 10,000 projected vehicles, yes! you read that right and it has been said that the game can even be expanded with several other vehicle models which can be bought by individual clients from Polyphony Digital. The projected lists of car models found in GT5 is amazing, you can literally find anything you want in there and with the expansion capabilities the sky is the limit.

When it comes to system requirements, Gran Turismo 5 (Store version) requires around 2.2GB of disc space but the Blu-Ray version might bring this number down. The demo of this game was launched in Japan during October, 2007 and it only featured the Suzuka race track along with 7 cars. If you are wondering what the "Prologue" in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue means, it is there as a self- reference to GT4 Prologue which was launched before GT4 for PS2, of course things have changed for the better since previous versions.

The multiplayer online interface is awesome, players will be able to compete against 15 other racers which certainly takes things up a few notches from the previous Gran Turismo HD. Along with GT5 players have access to "Gran Turismo TV" channel through PSN to keep racers updated with motor sport news, talk about added value. If you like the videos you have seen then hold on to your seats because Sony announced that this is just the beginning since the full version of Gran Turismo 5 launches in 2009.
